Grant Thornton hosts “Germany & Australia IPO Forum”

Germany & Australia IPO Forum, launched by Grant Thornton and co-hosted by Shanghai Private Equity Association, King & Wood Mallesons, and Shanghai International Economic and Technological Cooperation Association was held in The Peace Hotel, Shanghai on May 20.  The forum aimed at helping enterprises understand the requirements and key considerations of going public in Germany and Australia. During the forum, Denghui, audit partner of Grant Thornton China Beijing office, and Max Schwabedissen, senior manager from Grant Thornton Germany, elaborated on the financial strategy of going public in Germany. Wu Weixian, partner of Grant Thornton China Shanghai office and Derryn Ruolle, director of Grant Thornton Australia, introduced the financial considerations for enterprises to go listed in Australia. Chen Jingwen, Shanghai office advisory director, also shared his experience and understanding through some cases studies of overseas mergers and acquisitions.  

Following the tight agenda of the forum, quite a few experts shared their professional insights on going public in two different countries, Germany and Australia, just within a few hours. However, all the participants found the forum beneficial and inspiring.
