She will work closely with the China firm, clients and engagement teams to coordinate and deliver high quality and seamless China services both to U.S. based clients who want to invest to China and to China clients who want to do business in U.S.

Previously, Chu working in the Greater China Desk at Ernst & Young in New York, where she was responsible for advising multinational companies on a variety of business-related issues. These include corporate tax, individual income tax, tax planning, restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, market entry investment strategy and other general business matters in the Greater China Regions (mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macao).

Chinese enterprises’ overseas investments have increased fourfold in 2012, creating increased business opportunities in this area. Moreover in the past few years we have seen an increase in member firms establishing  a China Business Desk or focus on the China market.  There are now China Business Desks or China related initiatives in the UK, Canada, Cyprus, Japan, U.S. and Former French countries in Africa. China Business Groups will greatly assist GT China in the execution of our strategy.
