Grant Thornton merges with Lo & Lo CPA to strengthen advisory services

Hong Kong - Grant Thornton Jingdu Tianhua (“the Firm”) announced that, effective from 1 April 2011, Lo & Lo CPA Limited (“Lo & Lo”) will join the Firm, strengthening its business in advisory services. The combined business will continue to practice in Grant Thornton Jingdu Tianhua.

In this merger, three senior management members from Lo & Lo will join Grant Thornton Jingdu Tianhua. Specifically, Charles Lo will be appointed as senior advisor and focus on driving the development of advisory services across mainland China and Hong Kong. At the same time, Eugene Ha and Herman Ng will be appointed as partners of advisory and assurance services, respectively.

Established at the end of last year, Grant Thornton Jingdu Tianhua has ambitious expansion plans and a key part of these is to build the business through mergers and acquisitions. The merger with Lo & Lo is a demonstration of the firm’s commitment to building its professional resources.
